Uretek India Private Ltd (UIPL) was established in India in 2007. Our technologies use expanding Geo-Resins to compact soft soils preventing liquefaction and settlements, fill voids after washouts, rebuild soil strength after settlement, reinstate expansion joints, and to remediate cracked and spalled concrete.
UIPL uses a range of specialized high-density geo-resins to re-level and remediate failed and sunken concrete structures and pavements without excavation. UIPL’s Geo-Resins have a lifting capacity of up to 40 tonnes per m2 – small wonder that railway bridges, buildings of all shapes and sizes, road anchors and airport concrete slabs all respond to our treatment.
UPIL’s Geo-Resins have many applications and we do these works quickly, with no disruption to the client’s business. Jobs which take 2 or 3 months using conventional rip out and replace, can be done by UIPL as keyhole surgery in short time frames.
Problem Solving:
- After geotechnical investigation, we discuss with the client the most commercially suitable resin injection solution for their settlement problem.
- The use of Geo-Resins to remediate weak soils and settled structures normally involves identifying the weak strata and injecting expanding structural resins to increase the bearing capacity of the weak strata. The injections of similar resins directly under sunken concrete immediately will lift and relevel, as necessary.
- UIPL’s Geo-Resins expand at a 100% predictable rate, compacting the weak soils, filling micro voids & holes, thereby re-supporting sunken concrete or foundations with great accuracy: within a tolerance of +/-6mm per 3 meters (FM2 floor standard). All this is achieved without the need for excavation, which is disruptive, expensive, and time-consuming.

UIPL Method:
- Identify the root cause of the failure (i.e. the depth of and nature of the weak soils under the sunken structure) using Dynamic Penetrometer tests, GPR, site & level surveys, bore logs.
- Perform a level survey of the failed structure to assess the extent and proximity of the most distressed locations. Confirm against GPR records.
- Using historical levels prepare data to predict future settlements and possible preventative and remedial solutions and then discuss with client.
- Following client agreement, drill small injection holes @ centers ranging from 1.2m to 3.6m depending on the structure and the solutions required. Holes centers also depend on resin type, concrete shape, strength, thickness, reinforcement, and machinery and factory layouts.
- Using multiple rounds of injections focusing on the worst areas bring the structure back up to original or desired levels.
